The MINISTRY OF LABOUR, SOCIAL AFFAIRS AND FAMILY OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC is responsible for supporting employment, social care and the functioning of the pension system. As part of this mission, it pays systematic attention to the development of the social economy, social and family entrepreneurship in Slovakia. The social economy in its basic sense can be expressed as a tool for modernising the welfare state and its partners. The social economy is primarily associated with objectives such as supporting the increase in employment and social cohesion and the development of social services, which occur mainly in two main areas of public policy.
