THE CATALOGUE OF SOCIAL ENTERPRISES registered under Act No. 112/2018 Coll. on social economy and social enterprises brings an overview of registered social enterprises which are interested in promoting their offer and at the same time offer goods and services to the general public. It represents a platform for presenting the offer of goods and services of social enterprises. The catalog represents the output of the National Project Institute of Social Economy, implemented within the framework of the Operational Program Human Resources in the programming period 2014 -2020. It also includes the YOUTUBE channel “Social Economy” which presents the most significant results from the implementation of this national project. In the event of inability to employ at least 3.2% of persons with disabilities from the total number of its employees, employers in Slovakia are provided with the obligation to fulfill so called “assignment of substitute performance” (Section 63 of Act No. 5/2004 Coll.) so-called alternatives to fulfilling this legal obligation, namely by confiscating goods or placing a contract suitable for employing citizens with disabilities, or by placing a contract with a citizen with disabilities who operates or performs self-employment.
